Located in Monroe, Louisiana, Southern Accent sings 4-part a cappella barbershop
harmony, as one of over 600 Sweet Adelines International Choruses throughout the world.
The chorus performs locally in the northeast Louisiana area at civic events,
private gatherings, and local public services.
The chorus recently performed for the first time at Region 25 competition at the Eisemann Center in Richardson, Texas,
(Dallas area), and will compete again in March 2011.
Southern Accent rehearses on Thursdays, and any woman who would like to
audition is invited to visit.

Singing Lessons
at Pecanland Mall Center
Court on Sept. 2, 9, 16, and 23. "Come Sing With US" Program will be happening
in October and November 2010. Benefits of membership include vocal
improvement, education, travel opportunities, networking with other women who
love to sing, and best of all, the lifelong friendships that are formed.

of four members of Southern Accent Chorus, and the voices of Lillian, Kathy,
Charlene and Laura blend beautifully for
